VARDANE VERIFIED / IRELAND

A mark with
a record behind it.

A home earns the mark through documented checks, not simply by fitting a controller.

Vardane Verified is our installation-evidence and service-readiness standard. The review records what was checked, by whom, and what must be resolved before acceptance. It connects a responsible installation handover to ongoing support.

WHAT WE REQUIRE

Evidence first.
The mark follows.

For new Irish solar installations seeking SEAI support, our checklist draws on the scheme’s published requirements. Existing systems need a separate review of available records, equipment and remedial work.

  1. Registered people. Clear responsibility.

Check the solar company and named installer against the relevant SEAI registers for grant-funded work, and record the Registered Electrical Contractor responsible for electrical certification.

  2. An installation file that stands up.

Review the signed Declaration of Works, inspection and commissioning report, Safe Electric certificate, relevant network notification, installation photographs and equipment details. Missing or inconsistent evidence goes back for correction.

  3. Grant requirements tracked separately.

Where a grant applies, check approval before works, the required completion documents, invoice and published post-works BER. SEAI determines eligibility and payment; the Vardane mark does not guarantee either.

  4. A connected system, ready to operate.

Confirm supported equipment and communications, record the commissioning checks, review the tariff and energy settings, and assign responsibility for any outstanding issue.

  5. A homeowner who knows what comes next.

Record delivery of warranties, equipment information, safe operating guidance and the handover pack. Confirm app access, service consent, support scope and the route to qualified help.

HOW THE MARK IS EARNED

Review.
Resolve.
Accept.

Every acceptance needs a named reviewer and an installation-specific record.

The process requires an evidence review, documented closure of any findings, and a dated acceptance linked to the home and equipment. Material changes or unresolved concerns trigger another review.

Document review does not itself prove every aspect of workmanship. Where evidence is insufficient or raises a concern, qualified inspection and any necessary remedial work are required before acceptance.

Vardane Verified is a private acceptance mark, not SEAI endorsement, a statutory electrical certificate, a substitute for the installer’s obligations, or a guarantee against future faults.
